For large ducts, a person can go inside for cleaning while wearing a safety breathing apparatus and having a time limit of 15-20 minutes to stay inside the ducts to avoid suffocation or an incidental accident during cleaning. – In addition to using SCBA, an appropriate ventilation hood must be placed inside the ducts access opening where the blower fan discharges air inside the large ducts, and after cleaning manually start using the vacuum equipment.
